Wellington Point Early Learning Centre

Our Centre is a unique and special place where children and their families can play and learn in safe and friendly surroundings.

Our child care centre provides a focus on early learning and preparation for school. We consider the whole child in all their attributes, physical, intellectual, social and emotional and work in partnership with families to help to nurture and develop children in all of these areas.

We have carefully designed and planned our Centre to thoroughly cater for all the needs of young children and to fully comply with the latest Queensland Child Care Regulations and National Childcare Accreditation Council requirements. The Centre is licensed and approved by the Department of Family Services, providing security and peace of mind for families whose children are in our care.

Fully supervised developmental programmes are provided for each age group, with kindergarten and pre-school programmes for children in those age groups. Qualified and experienced staff are carefully selected and trained for each position at our Centre.

The Centre is also part of a network of child care centres around Australia known as Childcare Solutions. By enrolling at our Centre, you gain all the advantages of being part of one of Australia's leading child care service providers.

Parents are welcome at any time to visit the Centre or spend time with their children and have the opportunity to participate in extra curricular activities should they wish to do so.

- The Centre will provide the Federal Government's "Childcare Benefit" subsidy for which many parents will be eligible. Parents eligible for a further subsidy, Child Care Rebate, can also have this paid to the Centre which will further reduce their weekly fees. The fees payable will then depend on the Childcare Benefit subsidy, Child Care Rebate, the number of days booked and the group in which a child is enrolled.Applications for Childcare Benefit and Child Care Rebate should be made with the Family Assistance Office on 136 150. If you have not already been assessed, we would strongly recommend that you contact the Family Assistance Office as soon as possible if you are likely to require childcare in the near future.

What to Bring
- The Centre provides an optional food service by Little Tummy Tucker at a cost of $4 per day. Otherwise, children require lunch, morning and afternoon tea.
- All children need to bring a change of clothes, a set of sheets (cot size) and a hat.
- Children under 2½ years also need disposable nappies, trainer pants etc as required.
